Caramelised apple macaron

Our new gourmet caramelised apple gelato, wrapped between two delicate shells with a subtle almond flavour and decorated with hazelnut slivers.

The Canadian Grey Reinette originates from domestic apple trees (Golden Russet) imported from England in the early 19th century. Its skin is slightly rough - "russeting" is the term used today for the rough skin found on certain varieties of apples. Contrary to its name, it is not quite grey but rather cinnamon-coloured. A very popular variety in the kitchen, it is used in both desserts and sweet and sour dishes. Rich in vitamins C and E, as well as selenium (an antioxidant trace element), it is a real ally for your health!

The Canadian Grey Reinette is a sweet and fragrant apple. Its acidity remains light and very pleasant in the mouth. It blends perfectly with the melting texture of our caramel gelato, which we have enhanced with a touch of cinnamon. There is no doubt that this macaroon al gelato will take you back to the flavours of childhood: the sweet smell of our grandmother's apple pie, just out of the oven, the heady scent of cinnamon that perfumes the house...
