Created by two childhood friends, Cristiano Sereni and Paolo Benassi, Amorino was founded in 2002.
I still remember the first time I peeked into the laboratory of my favourite ice cream shop; I was about ten years old. In Italy, everything was an invitation to discover such an enchanting world; and I was so fascinated, not only because of my love of Gelato but especially for the pleasure in creating it. Now, 30 years later, with the same passion, here I am with my friend Paolo, navigating this amazing adventure which is Amorino.
Luckily, traditional artisanal Italian Gelato still exists. Delicious, surprising, luscious and irresistible Gelato, I am crazy about it, so crazy that I decided to pay homage to it through my own recipes, a tribute worthy of its fame. Gelato is something that always moves me and amazes me in its every flavour and variation.
